I believe organizations work best when people see themselves in the vision, understand why their work matters, and know that they matter. Belonging isn't just a score on a survey or a line in an annual report. It is felt when people feel safe enough to speak honestly, take risks, and apply their full thinking to the work.
Over 15 years across global SaaS companies, edtech startups, universities, and nonprofits, I've seen what happens when culture and strategy fall out of sync. I led enterprise, team, and managerial culture programs at Autodesk and built the executive development function from the ground up. I design and facilitate learning experiences that help leaders practice before the stakes are high. From a Fulbright in India to a department chair in London to consulting with organizations across Silicon Valley, I've carried the same question: what does it take to build an environment where people actually do their best work?
That question has a new urgency. AI is changing what work is, and every organization now faces a choice: what do we automate, and what do we protect?
